"It is hard for me to believe, but it has been a little over a year since we moved into our new home in Walnut Ridge. We are absolutely enjoying both the new house and the neighborhood. Thank you for all of your assistance, especially through the selection process of so many options to be decided upon. One of the best features that I added to the house was the radiant barrier under the roof. Considering the extreme temperatures we have had this year from February to August, I think this feature has been a big factor in moderating the heating and cooling bills. Thanks also to Enrique for his assistance whenever I had a warranty issue that needed to be resolved. He is always so very pleasant and helpful. See you in the neighborhood.”

I have good credit, but my spouse does not, does that mean we cannot buy a new home right now?

No, if one of you can qualify for a loan on your own then you still have buying power. Even though one spouse is not on the note of the loan, many lenders will allow the other spouse's name to be added to the title at closing.
