Capital Homes knows that here in Oklahoma we can have some pretty intense weather. Not many people love tornados nor do they like sitting around in a bathroom or closet hearing those loud sirens going haywire.
That is why we have decided to now offer our homeowners a safe room. We are all about keeping you and your family protected and this is one more way we are proving that.
Our safe rooms can be placed in the garage and are 4′ deep, 6′ wide, 6′4″ tall. Although, custom sizes can be built upon request. The safe rooms we offer have doors that swing inward so that any debris that could possibly be left infront of the safe room door would not enable you from getting out. The door to the safe room is large enough that a wheel-chair or electric scooter chair can easily fit through. The construction of these safe rooms are made of steel and have both a deadbolt and 3 interior locking mechanisms to secure the door. The safe room is anchored to the slab with bolts. This safe room surpasses the guidelines FEMA has set for safe rooms. There is nothing currently on the market that is stronger or anchored with any heavier material than this room.
When thinking about safety in your home, Capital Homes is the place to go!
