Tax Credit Deadlines Extended! |

Congress approved the extension for the Tax Credit closing deadline this past Wednesday. This extension will give buyers who signed a purchase agreement by April 30 more time to close on their homes and receive the credit that is worth up to $8,000. The new deadline is September 30th, 2010.
Members of the Military and certain other Federal employees serving outside the U.S. have an extra year to take advantage of the tax credit. A binding contract must take place prior to April 30, 2011 and closing of the home prior to June 30, 2011. For more details, check out the provided link.
