5 Summer Activities in Broken Arrow
April 18, 2019
Sweet summertime is upon us, which means longer days and hopefully some much deserved downtime. Luckily, Broken Arrow is the perfect place for summer family fun.
Rose District
The first stop on your calendar should be downtown Broken Arrow, better known as the Rose District. Lined with historical buildings, you can find over 70 local shops ranging from apparel and antiques, to flowers and gifts. Check out some of the Rose District's newest landmarks, such as In the Raw Sushi or Andolini's Pizza, and visit longstanding businesses such as Chocolate Designs by Nouveau.
Farmers Market
Also located within the Rose District is the state's second largest Farmers Market, which takes place every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. Whether it's crafting at Kids Corner, listening to local bands starting at 10 a.m., or indulging in some fresh cinnamon rolls, the Farmers Market is a place you'll find yourself craving to go back to each Saturday.
Broken Arrow Museum
Did you know there used to be a train depot in Broken Arrow? Find out more about this community we call home at the Broken Arrow Museum. Located inside the historic Kentucky Colonel Hotel, browse local and regional photographs and artifacts that enrich the history of the community.
Forest Ridge Golf Course
Play a round of golf at Forest Ridge Golf Course (and check out our model home while you're at it!). Located within a master planned community, Forest Ridge is open to everyone by providing an atmosphere that is typical of most member-only golf courses. Get a list of specials here.
Taste of Summer
On July 26, you won't want to miss the Taste of Summer Ice Cream Festival. Enjoy all-you-can-eat Blue Bell ice cream while soaking up the summer sun. The festival will include food trucks, face painting, inflatables, art vendors and more. The Ice Cream Festival is located in Central Park and tickets for ages four and older are only $5. It's easy to see why everyone loves summers spent in Broken Arrow. We hope you'll have the best one yet making some new memories!

What Our
Homebuyers Are Saying
"As a world-traveling gal who has lived all over, I was so excited to find the perfect mix of country living right outside the city lights. The process was so quick and easy that it felt like it was absolutely meant to be. I'm so happy I found Woodland Trails to start the next chapter."
