Capital Homes Couples
January 31, 2023
Meet Rich and Debbie, a charming Capital Homes couple married over 50 years. They met in Illinois at ages 18 and 22 working at the local grocery store. Rich was already taken by another local gal, but as soon as he put eyes on Debbie ... the rest was history! Before they knew it, these two cuties found themselves packing their bags and chasing new opportunites all the way to Oklahoma!
After living in a few different locations, opening their own grocery store, and starting a family, they finally landed just where they'd hoped! After spending over 40 years in the same house they felt the need for change.
As we all know time goes by and things change, just like us. In search of the next chapter of their life and retirement officially at their fingertips ... they found themselves in Broken Arrow looking for a perfect new community for their later years in life.
They wanted to be close to others, to have plenty of room and be able to cut it up and laugh and have their morning coffee together on their front porch. They wanted to have neighbors over to play games and visit. They love feeding the local pets as they sautee down the streets on their morning walks and making friends with their neighbors.
They wanted the ease of not having to take care of hardly anything. A new home, a retirement community and peace of mind knowing they had a community of folks just like them sounded like a little slice of heaven. Its been 3 years now and these two love birds are settled into their daily routine. Giggling on their front porch, cooking their favorite foods, putting together puzzles and enjoying the simple things in life.
