Cultural Connections: Building Dreams with Capital Homes in Owasso
March 13, 2024
“A different language is a different view of life” — Federico Fellini.
Owasso is a beautiful place that has grown tremendously, from undeveloped farms and prairies to wide streets with different stores and restaurants that make living here a unique adventure. When I first came to America a little over twenty years ago, I experienced a similar transformation. I spoke little English and was largely unfamiliar with many aspects of American culture. Time has passed, I can say without a doubt that Owasso is my home. I have my heart here, where my family and my dreams have become a reality in a place that is safe to have your kids growing up in excellent schools around people with positive values.
There are so many things that I’ve learned in my seventeen years of working in customer service. New perspectives and a different language and culture have given me a great opportunity to provide for my family and help others explain situations and find solutions in their own language.
I always tell people that I know more ways to say things in Spanish now than when I lived in Venezuela because during this journey, I have connected with so many people from different backgrounds and traditions that have only enriched my experience here. This is possible only because companies like Capital Homes have welcomed our voices to widen perspectives, empathize with others, and provide a better customer experience.
Two years ago, my life changed, and we built our new home with Capital Homes. The experience was so easy and smooth. Their support in answering my questions and concerns on one of the most important investments one have was so remarkable that I spoke with my New Home Specialist and told him that I would love to come onboard to help others in the Hispanic community have that same experience when buying a house.
Capital Homes has played an important part in the development of Owasso. I am thankful to have the privilege of working for a construction company that builds trust and makes beautiful houses where people create memories.

What Our
Homebuyers Are Saying
"The ease of not having to take care of hardly anything has been wonderful. A new home, a retirement community and peace of mind knowing we had a community of folks just like us sounded like a little slice of heaven. It has been 3 years now and we are settled into our daily routine. Giggling on our front porch, cooking our favorite foods, putting together puzzles and enjoying the simple things in life."
