Eight Acres Camp, located in Bixby, Oklahoma, offers a vibrant and nature-focused summer day camp experience for children aged 6 to 11. Established in 2002, the camp provides a safe and engaging environment where kids can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and creative pursuits.
Camp Features & Activities
Set on a scenic property, Eight Acres Camp boasts amenities such as:
A one-acre stocked fishing pond where kids fish with hot dogs and poles made from sticks.✔️

Secret "MOM" Hack
This camp is tough to get into—but there’s a trick. Sign up for one of the day camps they offer throughout the year to gain early access to summer camp registration. Doing this gets you on the pre-list, giving you a head start before the general public.
Pro tip: Camp sign-ups typically open in January at midnight. Yes, seriously—set an alarm, stay up, and be ready to register the second the clock strikes twelve. Think of it as the Black Friday of summer camps. Totally worth it, promise.

New Life Ranch is an overnight Christian summer camp. Campers engage in activities like horseback riding, canoeing, rock climbing, and worship, fostering relationships with peers, counselors, and Christ.

Camp Philbrook offers creative summer programs for children aged 3–14. Campers engage in hands-on art projects, explore the museum's galleries, and enjoy activities in the beautiful gardens. Camp Loughridge is a Christian-based, nonprofit summer camp situated on 188 scenic acres in southwest Tulsa. With a history spanning over 80 years, the camp offers a variety of outdoor activities designed to promote spiritual growth and personal development in a rustic, natural environment.
